NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that Annual General Meeting of the members of J.A. Textile Mills Ltd. will be held at 16-C, Peoples Colony, Faisalabad at 9:00 a.m. on Monday the March 31,2003 to transact the following business:-
1. TO confirm the Minutes of Annual General Meeting held on March 30,2002.
2. To receive, consider and adopt the audited accounts of the company for the year ended September 30, 2002 together with the Director’s and auditor’s reports thereon.
3. To approve the payment of dividend @5% (Rs. 0.50 per share) as recommended by the board.
4. To appoint auditors for the year ending September 30, 2003 and fix their remuneration. The retiring auditors M/s. M. Yousuf Adil Saleem & Company, Chartered Accountants being eligible, offer themselves for re-appointment.
5. To transact any other business with the permission of the chair.

NOTES:
1. The share transfer books of the company will remain closed from 24, 3, 2003 to 30.3.2003 (both days inclusive). Transfer received in order at registered office 16-C, Peoples Colony, Faisalabad by the close of business on 23.3.2003 will be treated in time.
2. A member entitled to attend and vote at the general meeting is entitled to appoint another member as proxy. Proxies in order to be effective must be received at the meeting.
3. Members who are not liable to pay Zakat at source are requested to send necessary declaration on oath for claiming exemption from Zakat.
4. Members are requested to promptly notify the change in their addresses, if any.
